Brief Description: PRESSED FLANGE BUSHINGS INTO RUDDER HINGES
(1) I used a press at work to press the flange bushings into the rudder hinges. I warmed the hinges up in the sun, and cooled the bushing off in the refrigerator. they pressed in very nicely. I suspected that by doing it that way, somewhere the material would have to expand back out on the bushing. sure enough, the AN-3 bolt was a tight fit in the bushing. I selected the proper drill size, and lightly opened it up to the correct fit.
